FREEWRITING "THIS I BELIEVE"

Oh my first postable free write. How exciting this is so amazing. I believe that medication is a joke and a scam to make money off of peoples' sufferings. this is so true. people are suffering everyday and they trust the medical doctors to give them advice. did i miss spell that. The medical doctors are payed off most of the time by the FDA to try new drugs. I don't want to be experimented on by someone without my permission. Everything is ran by money. Medical fields are no different. Doctors are being payed more and more to try new "BREAKTHROUGH" medicines. YEa like these actually work. Emeregency situations like a triage or emergency room are the only places medicine or surgery should be performed. Medication. ugh. THere are sooooo  many natural medicines out there for us to utilize its not even funny. Essiac tea is one of the teas perscribed to cancer patients. why does everyone want to have some kind of disease and be perscribed with all these pills. my dad used to take so many medicines for his cholesterol and blood pressure now all he drinks is hyssup tea. cured his high blood pressure. now he stays in the normal range of 100/60 to 150/90 it is crazy that one tea could do this for him. Money is so horrible. it makes people do so many bad things. by this it will cure you it only costs us 10 cents to make it but we will charge you 30 dollars plus the guarantee that it will make you have to take more medicine! its great! Most doctors are worried about making money and not saving lives. It is terrible to think this is what our country has come to. Most third world countries are healthier than America. That is horrible we have all this amazing technology and knowledge and there are third world countries that are healthier than us. Well of course they have to grow and harvest there own food. They get an appropriate amount of macro- and micro- nutrients. they don't have mcdonalds and other fast food joints to load up on a 5000 calorie meal in one shot. DESPICABLE and TRAGIC but that is the  way the world goes round. Poo my time is up.

  1. I'm glad to you also enjoyed free writing as I did. Other than that thou, we don't really see eye to eye.
First of all my mother has been a nurse for god knows how long and I've met far more good people who are Doctors than are just in it for the money. I mean just because someone is a Doctor doesn't mean that they're in it only for the money.
Yeah, I'll agree that medication can be over the top sometimes and that they guys in charge of the companies that manufacture them might be a LITTLE crocked.
The last thing that really bothers me is when you say "Most third world countries are healthier than America". I would have to disagree. While we American's might be over height and suffer from obesity; they suffer from malnutrition which is far more painful and will kill you far faster. Take for example the average lifespan. In Africa the average is under 60. To take it even further, look at the average for Swaziland, a 3rd world country in south Africa, with an average of 30. Now look at us, we sit at an average of 78, which is only 4 years behind the highest average of Japan at 82 pushing 83. Now tell me that 3rd world country are healthier than us...

  2. I think you guys are both right. There are good and bad to the medical field and the more natural approach. My parents are very much in the natural and it has helped them with their health problems. At the same time without doctors my oldest sister would be in a wheelchair and her youngest son would have died at birth, possibly killing her as well. Not everyone is honest sadly, so some doctors are only in it for the money, but I know a couple doctors and they are amazing people with amazing families. It is true we as a country are very over weight. I believe part of this is due to medications gone bad and part to the fast food industry and still part to technology. We are just lazy so we don't get the exercise we need. Fast food and cars and computers don't help. They may make us sick and then we are told we have to take medication and SOMETIMES that medication makes us gain weight as a side affect. Good and bad to both. :)

  3. I agree with you on that doctors push medicine to patients that may not need them. That is so interesting about the tea. I will have to let my dad know. He also takes blood pressure medicine and I hate the fact that he is a walking experiment. I am going to school to be a nurse and I really hope I will be able to correct this issue. Well maybe not but there is always hope.

  4. I can totally relate to your feelings about modern medicine. I work in nursing and have seen people who are like walking pharmacies. Meds do have a place and a purpose, but it is such a big money making industry that it is truly ridiculous. Take a pill for one thing, then another for the side effects, then another for those side effects. I also agree with your statement that a garden will lead to a healthy lifestyle. I am growing a garden this year and have already harvested fresh food to eat. Taste is beyond compare and nothing beats pulling weeds for good exercise.
